MELT & MOLD FONDUE SLIPPERS by Satsuki Ohata

There are a lot of weird things that go down in Japan that just can't be explained. From bizarre traditions and unusual ancient practices, Japan has truly carried on with these to, questionably, fit in the modern day. From food to architecture and engineering, Japan is not lacking a bit of original quirkiness. An example of an unconventional ingenuity is the Transparent House in Japan that was built by Sou Fujimoto Architects that was associated with the concept of living within a tree. Anything is possible in Japan - you can go wild with your imagination!

Another innovation that is truly Japan is the Fondue Slippers by Satsuki Ohata.

These PVC shoes by Japanese designer Satsuki Ohata could mould to feet like a second skin, using a process similar to dipping food in melted cheese.
